Xendra product guide

Everything you need to understand Xendra, install the right client, use wallet and swap with confidence, and see where the product is headed. Xendra is self-custody first: your keys, your assets, one experience on mobile, Mac, and desktop Chrome.

Overview

Xendra combines a everyday wallet, integrated swapping, a browser layer for web3, and AI-generated briefings so you spend less time tab-switching and more time acting on what you already care about. The product is built around a simple idea: one place to hold, move, explore, and stay informed — without giving up custody of your assets.

Two clients share the same philosophy. The native app (iPhone, iPad, Mac) is the full mobile and desktop Apple experience. The Chrome extension brings the same core flows to desktop browsers for people who live in Chrome during the workday. You can use either or both; setup and recovery concepts are aligned across clients.

Xendra briefings and in-product insights are for informational purposes only. They are not investment, tax, or legal advice. Always verify on-chain data and do your own research before transacting.

Install

Download page App Store or Chrome extension — pick the client that matches your device.

Requirements: recent iOS / iPadOS / macOS for the app; Google Chrome (current stable channel) for the extension. Other Chromium browsers may work but are not officially supported yet.

Get started — app

  1. Install Xendra from the App Store and open it.
  2. Set a device passcode — this locks the app on your phone or Mac.
  3. Create a new wallet or import an existing one with your 12- or 24-word recovery phrase.
  4. Write down your recovery phrase on paper (or another offline method). Confirm you have stored it before continuing.
  5. Explore the home screen: balances, receive, send, swap, browser, and briefings.

On first launch we recommend completing a small test receive or reviewing network settings so you know which chain you are on before moving larger amounts.

Get started — Chrome extension

  1. Install from the Chrome Web Store and pin Xendra to the toolbar.
  2. Open the popup and run first-time setup: passcode plus create or import a wallet.
  3. Grant only the permissions the extension requests during install — they are required for wallet and site connectivity.
  4. Use the popup for quick checks; open fuller flows when you need swap, browser, or longer briefings.

The extension is designed for desktop workflows. For the richest wallet experience on Apple hardware, the native app remains our primary surface.

Features in depth

Wallet

Hold supported assets in a self-custody wallet. Send and receive with clear confirmation screens, view recent activity, and copy addresses with standard safety prompts. You remain responsible for backup and recovery — Xendra does not hold your keys on your behalf.

Swap

Swap supported tokens inside Xendra instead of juggling multiple tabs. Quotes and routes depend on liquidity and network conditions at the time you submit. Review slippage, fees, and destination assets before you confirm.

In-app browser

Open dApps and web3 sites from within Xendra so wallet connection stays in one trusted surface. Always verify the site URL and connection prompts — phishing sites mimic popular interfaces.

AI briefings

Briefings summarize market context, asset movement, and narrative threads in plain language. They are refreshed on a cadence tuned for readability, not for high-frequency trading. Use them as orientation, not as signals to trade blindly.

Supported networks

Xendra focuses on chains where our users actually hold and swap assets. Availability can differ slightly between the app and the extension while we align feature parity.

Solana Ethereum Base Arbitrum Polygon BNB Chain Avalanche Optimism

“Live” means send, receive, and core wallet flows are supported today on that network where applicable. “Coming soon” items are in active integration or QA. Timelines may shift — see the roadmap for how we think about rollouts.

When we add a network, we typically ship read-only balance support first, then sends, then swap routes, then browser defaults for popular dApps on that chain. That order reduces surprises for existing users.

Swap

Swap is built for convenience inside the same session as your wallet. Before you swap:

Failed swaps usually return a clear error (insufficient fee, route unavailable, user rejected). Retrying after a minute often helps when liquidity was temporarily thin.

In-app browser

The browser is your controlled window into web3. Bookmarks and history behavior follow platform norms on the app; on the extension, connections respect Chrome’s site isolation model.

AI briefings

Briefings aggregate public market data and news-style context into short summaries. They may highlight volatility, large flows, or thematic trends (e.g. L2 activity, memecoin rotation, macro risk-off). Language is tuned to be scannable on a phone lock screen or a narrow extension popup.

Briefings can lag fast markets by design. For execution decisions, rely on your own charts, limits, and risk rules — not on summary text alone.

Security & recovery

Common questions

Is Xendra custodial?

No. You control your recovery phrase. We cannot recover it if you lose it.

App vs extension — which should I use?

Use the app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac for the native experience. Use the extension if desktop Chrome is where you work. Many users run both.

Why don’t I see a chain yet?

New networks roll out in stages. Check the roadmap and network pills above; swap and browser support often follow wallet support.

Are briefings financial advice?

No. They are informational summaries only.
